What is CVGlow and how does it work?

You upload your CV (PDF, DOCX, or pasted text) and CVGlow reads through it looking for three things: whether your bullets actually say anything, whether you're using the right keywords for the job you want, and whether an ATS can parse it. Then it rewrites the weak parts with real numbers and tells you what's off. Usually takes under four minutes.

Is CVGlow free to use?

To start, yes. Signup is free, no credit card, and you get 3 credits which is enough for one full CV pass. You only top up if you want to run more CVs, write cover letters, or iterate further.

How much does CVGlow cost?

We use credits, not subscriptions. You get 3 free when you sign up, which covers a full CV diagnosis and rewrite. Need more? Credit packs are listed in euros on the pricing page after login. You only pay when you actually need to run something.

What file formats does CVGlow support?

PDF, DOCX, or just paste the text in. For export, we give you a PDF back. Your original structure stays intact, but it gets re-rendered through one of our ATS-friendly templates so you can trust it will actually parse on the other end.

How long does CV analysis take?

Two to four minutes for most CVs. Longer ones, or runs against a big job description, can stretch past that, but the UI streams progress live so you're never staring at a blank screen wondering what's happening.

How does CVGlow improve my ATS score?

We score four things: how well your keywords match the job, whether your sections are in a sensible order, whether your verbs are doing any work, and how much of your experience is actually quantified. Then we fix the weakest ones first. Most people see their score jump from somewhere in the 40s into the 90s after the first pass.

Can I edit my CV after CVGlow processes it?

Yes. After the rewrite, you land in the editor and can change any bullet, reorder sections, or swap templates. If you don't like something, revert it. We keep the full version history per CV.

Does CVGlow support multiple languages?

The interface is in English and German. You can upload a CV in either language and we'll rewrite it in the same language it came in.

Does CVGlow work for my industry or role?

It's built for knowledge-work roles: software, product, data, design, marketing, ops, finance, consulting, research. Works for people just out of university as well as senior folks. Where it's less useful is highly regulated formats like legal or medical CVs that need very specific certification sections we don't model well.

Can I use CVGlow for cover letters?

Yes. You can generate a cover letter from your CV plus a job ad, improve a draft you already have, or run an ATS pass over it. Uses the same credit pool as your CV work.

Is CVGlow safe? How do you handle my data?

CVGlow is GDPR-compliant. Your CV is encrypted going in and at rest, we don't share it with anyone, and nothing gets used to train third-party models. You can delete everything from your account whenever you want. Our analytics is privacy-friendly, and there are no ad trackers on the site.

How is CVGlow different from Rezi, Teal, or Jobscan?

Rezi and Enhancv are mostly builders: you write, they format. Teal is a whole career hub with job tracking. Jobscan tells you how well your CV matches a job ad but doesn't rewrite anything. CVGlow is narrower on purpose. We read your existing CV, tell you what's wrong with it, and fix the weak parts. If you already have a CV and want it made better, we fit. If you're starting from nothing, a builder is probably a better match.
